Within a couple of weeks of bringing Mushroom home we knew there was something very different about her. She was never your normal friendly, playful puppy. She's struggled with reactivity towards dogs and people her whole life, for reasons we will never know, and was even kicked out of her first dog walking placement because she displayed aggressive behaviour. We were really at a loss back then.
Then we found Kirbie and Tanks Trails! From the first meeting it was clear this was the perfect match. Kirbie was calmly confident around her and that really helped put Mushroom at ease. Kirbie was amazing at understanding Mushrooms body language and knew how to be exactly what she needed.
We've been with Tanks Trails for over 3 years now, and couldn't think of anyone better to be Mushrooms best friend.
Mushroom started on solo walks, to work through her reactivity issues, and now she goes off lead with the pack. We never thought this would be possible for her and we (especially Mushroom) will never be able to thank Kirbie enough!

Words cannot describe how glad I am to have found Kirbie. I initially reached out to her looking for an at home sit while we were on holiday. We have a big boisterous lurcher who had some behavioural issues in his adolescence. Combined with a really terrible experience with a sitter off Rover, I had a lot of anxiety about leaving Otis with anyone. As soon as I reached out to Kirbie she made me feel so understood and immediately calmer. We decided to start Otis on weekly walks to build his relationship with her, and they've never stopped. Not only did our holiday go without a hitch (we knew Otis was being spoiled rotten in his own home) but Kirbie has continuously worked with him on his walks, building up neutrality to other dogs. Otis is obsessed with other dogs, but his size and general lack of social skills and self awareness means that he could never walk with them or be off lead around them - meaning finding a place for him to do his big zoomies was nearly impossible. Kirbie has worked magic though and Otis can now go on group walks with other dogs and has even been off lead on a group walk. I couldn't believe my eyes! I will forever be thankful for the work she's put in with us and our boy.

We’ve seen such a positive change in Rocco since his walks started with Kirbie. From being unable to even see another dog without reacting and planting himself to the floor, to now happily walking past them and continuing his walk with no reactions. We used to have to walk him late at night to try and minimise the stress but now we can all go out for a walk as a family with no issues. He absolutely loves his walks and sits waiting at the window on his walk days, and always gets his post walk cuddles!
